ESCVS 2025 is searching for the most outstanding work from Young Surgeons!

Young surgeons are invited to compete in the following categories:

  1. Cardiac Surgery
  1. Vascular or Endovascular Surgery

Prizes

The best abstracts will be rewarded with a monetary prize:

Eligibility Criteria

What are the criteria to apply?

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 35 years old or younger
  • Submit an abstract for oral presentation (case reports are excluded)
  • Be registered for the congress

Selection Process

  • Applicants selected for the competition must personally present their work during the Young Surgeon Award Session
  • The session will be chaired by ESCVS Executive Committee Members
  • Presentations must be delivered in English
  • The winner will be selected based on the abstract review and oral presentation during the Annual Congress
  • The results will be officially announced at the Gala Dinner, where the award recipient will be invited to receive their prize

How to Apply

  • Submit your abstract (excluding case reports) by March 23rd, 2025, for the ESCVS 2025 Meeting in Greece
  • You must be under 35 years of age (send a copy of your passport to abstracts@conferre.gr)
  • In the comments section, it is mandatory to include the phrase "Young Surgeon Award"

If your abstract is accepted for oral presentation, you will be notified if it is also selected for the Award Session
